Hi Charles big fan of your work, but I was wondering if I could ask you if you remember about the Crash Nitro Kart cinematic cutscenes. Was there different models used for those cutscenes or the same in-game models?

Nice Drawing. Say Charles. I notice that the concept art for the Machine Gunner and Barrel Thrower potoroos that they have legs but they don't in the game. Do you think the developers remove them of graphical limits at the time?

Hello Charles! Very cool to see this concept and just a new post in general! Been following for years, still waiting for an opportunity to own some of your original artwork! If there’s a way to make an order please let me know! Hope all is well, thanks.

Hi Kristopher. The cutscenes were handled by Joe Pearson and Vicarious Visions. They worked together on this aspect of production. Other than that I really don't know what went down. If you contact Joe he'll be happy to answer your questions I'm sure. You can probably find him on Facebook. Thanks for your comments and for checking in.

Hazman! Couldn't tell ya what that was all about except that the first Crash games on PS1 had many limitations when it came to graphics. My guess would be that was a factor in what you're referring to.

Stephen I have quite a few people looking for art. Don't mean to disappoint anyone. I'm pulled in so many directions at any given time it's tough to get round to this. When the time comes I'll be sure to post a notice on the blog. Thanks for your interest and for your comments! I'll keep this in mind.

Hey, Charles! I’ve been a life long crash fan. Looking at your art on the Naughty Dog site back in the day made me wanna be a cartoonist like you when i grew up, and so I did become a cartoonist! I’m planning on getting a tattoo of one of your drawings since your work is so special to me so I figured I would ask if you could sketch Aku Aku sometime soon. (do you do requests? Commissions?) Even if that’s totally out of the question, just want you to know that I loved your drawings back then and I still do and thanks for sparking this ambition in me to become an artist. Never stop blowing us all away.

Hey there SAM thanks for that great message! I'm happy to learn that you're heading in a direction that will give you fun and satisfaction. I have a long waiting list when it comes to commissions and I'm generally busy with my school and time is at a premium. My suggestion is to find a picture online of Aku Aku that you like, maybe something I did when developing Crash, and use that for your tat design. I don't know if I can do a better version than that at this point in my life since I'm on to other things. Hopefully that'll work out for you. In any case if things change and I'm able to take on commissions I'll post a notice and let folks know. Meantime thanks again for your inspiring message and good luck with everything you're doing!
