In the early days of posting on my blog it was a time of uncertainty for the Crash Bandicoot community. I noticed a high level of anxiety among fans so I did what I could to contribute to keep Crash alive by drawing him. It had been a long time and only periodically would do something I wasn't especially excited about.
I knew I had to practice so on September 19 2013 I sat down and sketched Crash to get back into it. These are the pages I did minus some images that didn't quite make the cut.
I'm archiving my work from the past few years. That's what lead to this rediscovery. It was fun and something special drawing Crash back then. Like visiting an old friend you haven't seen in a while and catching up on things.

I remember these ones, you posted them back in the day!
Man, It has really been that long?! Unbelievable!
This was my favourite take on the Bandicoot by far, it was an inspiration for me and I still draw some details on Crash directly taken from these sketches!
I hope they hire you for a possible Crash movie, cartoon or the next game even, I want to see this design in action so badly!!!
Love these doodles of crash! hard to think it's been this long.
btw I've done this idea for a Crash villain and the it's a Megabat so wonder what you think? https://www.deviantart.com/hazartsnrafts/art/Crash-Bandicoot-Megabat-villain-idea-822278120
X thanks for your comments. That period was a dark age for Crash.
Geb I wasn't sure I posted the sketches before. Thanks for pointing that out. It's good to take a look back and see them from 6 years later.
I didn't have these files so I scanned them as I'm archiving all of my work. I'm thinking of compiling the Crash drawings from this period into a book.
Your Crash Bandicoot artworks and sketch inspires me a lot, it makes me think in my childhood and the old CB times, it is a beautiful feeling!
Thanks Araceli. Glad the drawings create good feelings.
