ReplyDeleteI posted those images on the AnimationNation forums in 2005. Thanks for the reminder. There's other drawings from the development of Neo Cortex I rediscovered that have not been published. I'll follow up with them soon.

ReplyDeleteGreatWhat's the story behind the "N" on his forehead. I heard it standed for "Nerd" is that true? I like Cortex even in his early designs but the final design definitely gives him an evil look that fits perfect in the Crash Bandicoot universe. Do you ever wanted him to be yellow?
ReplyDeleteThat's something Joe Pearson added. I don't know if there's a special meaning to the N on his forehead. I always assumed it was meant to represent his name like the S on Superman's costume. Next time I talk to him I'll ask and get the story behind it.
