Skinny leg Frank

This being October and all with Halloween on its way I found something else suitable for the occasion. This was a class demonstration from the early days of my school in 1998. Had fun with a version of the Frankenstein monster using watercolor paints and black line. I was accentuating the contrast between upper body shapes and his boots with the idea of scrawny legs to push the exaggeration in design as well as the application of color in a direct and confident manner. My students always appreciate demos like these as they gain from them considerably and I enjoy coming up with the art.
