If you missed out on the Ebay auction for Crash and Spyro color prints created and signed by yours truly here's your chance to take another crack at it. This is a continuing fund raiser for the Worthing Boy's Club in the UK. Spread the wealth and the cheer and the goodwill by supporting this endeavor through the Crash and Spyro art auction on Ebay.
Follow this link to Crash and this link to Spyro. Here's what's being offered. The auction wraps up this Sunday on May 12 2013 which is Mothers Day in the US. What a great gift these will make for her!
Thanks again Charles! I thought Mothers Day was the on the same day worldwide! :O
ReplyDeleteIn the US it's always the second Sunday in May.
ReplyDeletePerhaps some you guys in Crash and/or Spyro media wouldn't mind helping to get the word out about the auction. It'll help to support the Worthing Boy's Club.
I'm trying to think of other ways i can advertise my auctions.. any ideas anybody?
ReplyDeleteMatt does the Boy's Club maintain an email list? Do you send email blasts or newsletters? How involved is your group with social media?
ReplyDeleteNope - The only way people know about Boys' Club is by word of mouth - Next to none on social media.
ReplyDeleteI can help advertise this on Crash Mania Charles and Matt, is that alright with you guys?
ReplyDeleteMatt if you take advantage of social media and develop an online community for the Boy's Club you'll be in a much better situation for getting the word out for auctions and also for things going on in general.
ReplyDeleteCheck out www.MailChimp.com. It's a free resource for developing your email list and sending out newsletters. Also get a Facebook page happening for the club. It doesn't have to be personal. Set it up for the organization. There's Twitter, Instagram, Tumbler, lot's of different ways to go as well as Blogger which is what I'm using here.
In my country, Paraguay, Mother's Day is celebrated on May 15th
ReplyDeleteIf you wouldn't mind Pat that would be great!
ReplyDeleteI do have twitter but I only have 234 followers but I do try to get my auctions retweeted but that fails 99% of the time.
Facebook is a must. Also you should build an email list for newsletters through MailChimp. I highly recommend that you guys do this if you want your auctions to be more successful. Get the word out beforehand so people can know ahead of time. Good luck Matt.
ReplyDeleteThanks!!!

It's tough to get your page popular on Facebook.
ReplyDeleteAny other ideas?
Looks like the auction went well. That's twice where the results were better than I initially expected based on where the bidding was just a little whole a go. Good to see there's a healthy market for Crash and Spyro art. Congrats on another successful auction Matt. Best wishes to all at the Worthing Boys' Club.
ReplyDeleteTo follow up with David, no matter when it's celebrated in your country, every day is Mother's Day. :)
