Big Bad Wolf too - line

Got out a ball point black line pen and put a finishing touch on BBW2. See previous post for the blue line rough.

Oh wow this design is even better than the last one! The suit fits him perfectly, for some reason that particular design choice reminds me of a Disney cartoon with a wolf in a suit just like this one, sadly I don't remember what it was called.

  2. Hey Garbiele thank you. Glad you like the drawing. Enjoyed creating it. You're probably referring to the wolf in Red Hot Riding Hood. It was an MGM cartoon I think directed by Tex Avery. There may have been more than 1 cartoon with the wolf character. Do a search and you'll find it. I was aware of the character and tried to make this design something different.

  4. Hey Hazman. By "maned wolf" are you talking about a werewolf? Or a wolfman?

  6. I see what you mean. That's an interesting concept. Pretty cool. Thanks for the lead on this. If you're drawing this let's see what you do.

Oh yeah, I remember now! It was one of my favourite shorts, I loved the energy, the animation, the characters, it's a great cartoon and one of Tex Avery's best in my opinion.
I see that he has the stripes on his suite, unlike Pinstripe. I always wandered why was that: Maybe too much texture work for the PlayStation 1?

  8. Hey Gabriele I just realized I misspelled your name. Sorry! My typing was sloppy. Everything about Crash / Willy Wombat at the beginning was simple simple simple. PS technology was just emerging. Whatever's missing in detail is due to tech limitations at that time.

I should have figured out that hardware limitation was the answer :P.
Oh and don't worry about the name, I get that it's probably not a name you see often.
