Cuddly the Mad Pufferfish - Part 3

Here's more concept designs of Cuddly from the Game Developers Conference panel in 2003. At this point in the project I'm still experimenting with possibilities as to what he would look like. I was researching puffer fish and realized how varied they were in nature so I tried to get some of that variety in the development of the character's potential appearance.

So cute!
I know that this doesn't have nothing to do with this but there is any possibility to see a tutorial on how to draw Crash? And maybe other characters also? A step by step thing.

I use different approaches when I draw Crash and other characters as well. There's some basics that I could communicate. Someday when I get room to breathe I'll create a few videos describing the process.

There is already a how to draw crash book out there, but it doesn't look to great!

It's so great to see you have a blog! I've been a fan of your artwork since I was a child, and it inspired me to pursue art and illustration. I remember seeing your sketches and concept work about 15 years ago! So great to see you're still carrying on, I love how expressive your work is. I still can't draw Spyro like you can. (Spyro IS my childhood haha!).

Thanks so much for being such an inspiration over the years. :)
