Back on October 21

Hi everyone. I'll be out this week taking care of some personal business and won't have an opportunity to upload art. But I will be able to clear comments and interact with text. I'll be around on October 21 and get back into a normal routine again. Thanks very much for checking in. I appreciate all the visits and your positive remarks. See you next Monday! :)

I do have a question.. Are you still friends with any of the Naughty Dogs, producers and so on that worked on Crash, Spyro and Jak?

Oh.. And I think you should make a Twitter account. You would be flooded with followers and loads of people would love to see your art!

Matt - Not in touch with anyone from either ND or Insomniac. Been that way for a long time. Last person I was in contact with was David Siller who was the producer of the first Crash game. I have a Twitter account for my school but haven't gotten around to using it. Will consider your advice and see what can be done along those lines.

Hi Charles, I've hope you enjoyed your little break from posting art!

Hey Charles, maybe you can help answer this personal question of mine. Here it is:

For a while now, I've been searching for a career that helps suit my destiny. For years, I had a knack a drawing since I was little. I would trace books, screens from the TV and VHS covers.

I've decided that for all my years in drawing that I should become a cartoonist/illustrator or animator. To help improve, I received a drawing tablet recently for my birthday and have been sketching stuff I seen daily.

But now I must overcome what college/university is right for me. I want to stay near family (I live in NJ) so I choosing between the School of Visual Arts and Pratt Institute. SVA sounds pretty good because they have variety of art you can choose from to help your future and Pratt Institute is also as good because a lot of well known people in the animation industry came from there like Eric Goldberg and Joseph Barbera.

Maybe you can help me out?

Charles Hello! Sorry, but why not you make a nice logo for the blog? So it is a little ... cold, aseptic...
Just an idea ... You deserve a better presentation :)

Pat - Check out The Kubert School in Dover NJ. They're a long standing comic book school with many successful students. Also follow up on the other schools you mentioned. Look at their students' work and what the school has to offer for what you're looking to learn in art. Get you art up online if it's not there already. A blog like this one will do fine. There should be something so people can see what you do. It'll give me an idea as to where you're coming from artistically.

Mikey Miller - Hello and thanks for your suggestion. I kind of like the header on this blog. For reasons unknown I'm partial to the simplicity and starkness of it. But I'll keep what you said in mind and maybe do something different down the line.

Can I also test an header to you?

So here is the logo that I wished to dedicate yourself ;)

Hey Mikey I do like it. Thanks for showing me what you had in mind. I'll try something like this and play up the blog's header more.
